Terms of Service
Apache 2.0
Open source license
Krolik is free, open-source software licensed under the Apache 2.0 License. These terms govern your use of the krolik.tools website. The software itself is governed by the Apache 2.0 License.
License
The Krolik software (go-code MCP server) is released under the Apache License, Version 2.0. You may use, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with that license.
When you self-host Krolik, you are responsible for your own deployment, data handling, and compliance with applicable laws. These website terms do not affect your rights under Apache 2.0.
Website use
You may access krolik.tools for lawful, personal, or commercial informational purposes. You agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or exploit the website or its infrastructure
- Scrape or mirror this site in ways that harm its availability to other visitors
- Use the site for any purpose that violates applicable law
- Misrepresent your affiliation with Krolik or Anatoly Koptev
No warranty
The website and the Krolik software are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of the software or website.
This disclaimer applies to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and is consistent with the Apache 2.0 "DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES" clause.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Anatoly Koptev and contributors to the Krolik project shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, revenue, or business — arising from your use of the website or software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Because Krolik is provided free of charge, this is zero.
Intellectual property
"Krolik" and the Krolik logotype are trademarks of Anatoly Koptev. The Apache 2.0 license grants you rights to the software; it does not grant trademark rights. You may not use the Krolik name or logo to imply endorsement of a fork or derivative product without explicit written permission.
Website content (text, design, documentation) is copyright © 2024–2026 Anatoly Koptev. Code samples in the documentation are available under Apache 2.0.
Self-hosted deployments
Krolik is designed to be self-hosted. There is no account to create, no subscription to manage, and nothing to "terminate." If you self-host the software, your deployment is yours entirely and governed by the Apache 2.0 License.
